how to choose SPM line

The tonnage of the mooring tanker is the main parameter for the design of single point mooring lines. 

Generally, the larger the tanker tonnage, the greater the mooring force. The changes in mooring force for large and small tankers are quite different. The mooring force of small oil tankers varies greatly, so the fatigue problem of a single point of mooring small oil tankers is more important.

SPM ropes is in adopting a double circular structure, this is a kind of innovation design, compared with the traditional structure of the ropes, has higher strength and better abrasion resistance and long service life. Both eyes in the end are come with thimble, polyester jacket should be covering the rope where it has hte thimble (the thickness of jacket is not less than 6mm), then the rope outer coating a layer of polyurethane glue, to increase the wear resistance of the rope. The rope from the set of 25 feet began to add floating ring, the number of floating shall mee the prescribed requirements. Cable manufacturing OCIMF standard is required.
